A tool is only as good as the workman who uses it.

A simple change in the layout of holes, produced a significant time saving in the manufacturing process.

Do you understand your tools.

Is the design and manufacture process linked?

The biggest problem is designers and detailers have usualy spent little time on the shop floor. The old type of training with a few months in each department is invaluable. This seems to have died a death over the last decade because of commercial pressures!
